SDPTGA meetings usually start at 6:30 PM and are generally held at the: 

Downtown Information Center (DIC)*
193 Horton Plaza, San Diego

Located on 2nd level, above Longs Drug Store.
Parking is available either on the street or in Horton Plaza, be sure to get your parking ticket validated.

*The association has many special "fam's" planned for the future, which could possibly change the meeting location.

Wednesday, January 9, 2008        "Special Guest Speaker, Ken Kramer." 
Downtown Information Center (DIC) starting at 6:00 PM.
Ken Kramer studied broadcasting and film making at San Diego State. He worked at the campus radio station while with a television concept for a show called "About San Diego." "The first few were produced with an all-volunteer crew," Kramer says. "But the audience loved it. I knew this was what I wanted to do".
"About San Diego" has become Kramer's signature work. Through visual and verbal storytelling, each segment takes a look at some aspect of our county's history and people; the funny, the odd, the fascinating.
Ken also serves as a reporter for NBC 7/39, bringing more than 30-years of experience in San Diego to the station's news broadcasts. He's won 10 "Golden Mike" awards for news and documentary work, along with five Emmy awards, and dozens of plaques from the San Diego Press Club and Sigma Delta Chi, the professional journalism society.
His "About San Diego" series has been honored by the Council of California History, the "Save Our Heritage Organization", and won several national awards for excellence in writing and reporting.

 Tuesday, February 19, 2008  "Fun and Frolic Time"  plus installation of 2008 Board of Directors, starting at 6:30 PM, details will be e-mailed to members.

Tuesday, June 24, 2008 meeting starts at 6:30 PM, Hacienda del las Rosas, Old Town State Park.  One of the wine tasting rooms located in a California State Park.  Educational park docents gave a wonderful talk on Old Town's history.  Wine tasting and great information a duo that is hard to beat.

Thursday, July 31, 2008 meeting starts at 6:00 PM, Anthology in Little Italy.  Good food, libations and the sounds of Arturo Sandoval made for a very pleasant evening. 

Thursday, August 14, 2008 Association members were treated to a "fam" plus lunch of Tijuana hosted by Mexicoach, Tijuana Business Men's Association and La Placita.  Tijuana has started a new city tour which proved to be very educational and informative.

Tuesday, August 26, 2008 our first "Let's Get Certified" Pep Rally plus lunch was successful.  The association is in hopes of making this an annual event.

Thursday, November 20, 2008  Business meeting starting at 6:00 PM at DIC.

Friday, December 5, 2008 Save the date for our "Holiday Gathering."  Location and details will be e-mailed to members.
